The icy journey begins just 200 m from the highest point on the Hintertux Glacier. From the viewing plateau on the "Gefrorene Wand" (3,250 m), with one of the most beautiful panoramic views of the Zillertal mountains, a safe path leads to the gates of the palace.

Braukunsthaus Zell am Ziller

Immerse yourself in the world of Tyrolean beer culture on an exhibition area of over 5,000 m². The BrauKunstHaus offers a multimedia tour of Tyrol's oldest private brewery and shows everything from the basic ingredients to the bottling of beer. A tasting of the finest beer specialties awaits you at the end.

You can also purchase regional delicacies and beer products in the brewery's own store. For groups and companies, the BrauKunstHaus offers special packages, event rooms and modern technology for seminars and celebrations. The Alpinhotel sources both beer and fine wines from this traditional brewery.

Spannagel Cave natural monument

The Spannagel Cave, an impressive marble show cave near Hintertux, has been delighting visitors with its natural wonders since 1994. Discovered in 1919 and protected since 1964, the cave offers year-round guided tours through a unique geological paradise.

With a water surface area of 300 m², the approximately 31°C warm water offers an oasis of relaxation and well-being. Various water attractions such as an air bubble pool, two slides, a torrent, a waterfall, neck jets, massage jets and a whirl air basin enrich the bathing experience and provide plenty of variety.
