Once a week, your evening turns into a winter adventure. After dinner, take a cab up to the Bichlalm at around 9 pm. There you can enjoy a drink and the breathtaking view of the Hintertux Glacier and the Tux Alps. The Bichlalm is one of the most beautiful excursion destinations in Tux and promises a unique experience, especially in winter. When the evening dawns and the sky darkens, you can have fun on the floodlit toboggan run, which leads three kilometers down to the hotel.
A special experience of our weekly activities is the torchlight hike to the "Aue" farm. On this evening tour, which begins after dinner, each guest is given a torch for the walk along the stream to the "Aue". Franz, Thomas' uncle, welcomes you there and gives you an exciting insight into the art of distilling schnapps. A tasting of various schnapps rounds off the experience. The way back is a relaxed "digestive walk", during which you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and the silence of the night.

Every week in winter, our experienced ski guides, including the host Thomas, take our guests to the most beautiful and exciting ski mountains around Tux. They know the picturesque corners of the Zillertal at first hand and take you to new, fascinating destinations that will make your heart beat faster as a winter sports fan. And a cozy stop at one of the region's traditional huts or inviting mountain inns provides the perfect end to an eventful day of skiing.
If the ski weather doesn't play along, our Alpinhotel Berghaus offers an equally fascinating alternative: snowshoeing with our experienced ski guide Josi. Explore the idyllic winter landscape of the Tux Valley away from the pistes in a very special, peaceful way. Our hotel is happy to provide you with snowshoes free of charge. This quiet form of mountain exploration is also very popular in sunny weather. Enjoy the silence and the untouched beauty of the snow-covered landscape.
